What is expected
from Host Families?

We aim to make hosting simple, rewarding and enjoyable for all our host families. You play a vital role in their experience! As a host family, your are expected to:

  • Provide a comfortable living space
  • A welcoming and friendly home environment.
  • A private bedroom with a bed, wardrobe, and desk (if possible)
  • Access to shared living areas (kitchen, bathroom, common spaces)
  • Offer meal options (if applicable)
  • Half-board or full board for participants who prefer a catered stay.
  • A self-catering option is available for more independent participants
  • Help with local orientation
  • Assist with transport advice (bus routes, tickets, etc.) if needed.
  • Share recommendations on local amenities and cultural activities..
